An eight-mile run at 8am on a Sunday morning may sound like an April Fools Day prank, but the Asics Breakfast run on Sunday, April 1 is no joke.
Runners can do the 8.2-mile course, with the brave doing two laps to make a 16-mile course, and are sponsored to raise money for charity.
Kingston Council has some free places for anyone wishing to do the breakfast run on behalf of Young Kingston. Entry usually costs £16.
To secure your free place call the Mayor's office on 020 8547 5030 or send an email to mayorsoffice@ rbk.kingston.gov.uk. For more information about the Asics Kingston Breakfast Run, see humanrace.co.uk.
