WE would like to thank the staff at Warrington Hospital and the Warrington public who were involved in caring for and transporting my son in an incubator to Glenfield Hospital in Leicester (RAF, ambulance crew, fire brigade, members of a rugby team playing at Victoria Park and possible others).

Our son was taken by an RAF helicopter from Victoria Park on December 17 to Glenfield Hospital in Leicester where he successfully received specialist treatment (ECMO) that saved his life.

If it was not for all those people involved in treating him in hospital and for assisting in the transportation of the incubator my son may not be alive today and for that we are truly thankful.

He is now back home safe and well and fully recovered.

If anyone has any photographs of the day we would appreciate a copy for a scrap book we are compiling. You can contact me at s.walsh50@ntlworld.com Stuart Walsh Runcorn
