THE Community Players at Hawbush are getting set to stage two one-act comedies next week.
The group will be putting on Shop for Charity by Charles Mander, which centres on the comical goings in a charity shop and Housekeeper Wanted by Philip King and Falkland Cary about a man who, after his wife leaves him, decides to hire a housekeeper.
Both light-hearted romps, the plays are being staged at the Oakfield Centre (formerly Hawbush Community Centre), Brettell Lane, Brierley Hill, from Wednesday March 7 to Saturday March 10.
Performances start at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £5 on 01384 394349 or on the door. Concessions, £4, for OAPs are available on Wednesday night and for children every night.
