Chipping Norton Town Swifts U-14 2, Chesterton Jnrs 1 CHIPPY took the lead midway through the first half of the Knockout Cup semi-final when Owen Hunt hit an unstoppable 25-yard shot into the top corner.

They would have doubled their lead just after the break had it not been for a brilliant goalline clearance after which Chesterton clawed their way back into the game when David Aslett's neat shot made it 1-1.

The game looked set to go into extra-time before Gareth Price's cross somehow found it's way into the back of the net.

A nervous ten minutes followed but both defences held firm and it's Chippy who will play in the final.

Garden City 0, Bourton Rvrs Yth U-8 0 CITY started the brighter and it only some brave goalkeeping from the outstanding Oliver Peters that prevented Rovers from going behind.

As the half progressed, Bourton started to find their feet but neither team could manage to find that little bit extra to break the deadlock.

The second half started as the first with City on the ascendancy but again they failed to get past the immaculate Peters.

Hook Norton 2, Cumnor Minors U-9 0 THIS was a match that Hook Norton needed to win to have a chance of staying in the B League.

The entire team was magnificent and they dominated the game to earn their best win of the season against a team currently second in the table.

Hooky looked sharper from the off and had Cumnor under a lot of pressure early on. A goal soon came with a great right foot strike by Jack Aitken.

Hooky again got off to the quicker start in the second half and Sam Pougatch made a great run from midfield but his shot was parried on to a post by the Cumnor goalkeeper. However, the ball rolled back along the goalline and Aitken made sure it went in the back of the net.

Tom Machin and Adam Hemmings also had some chances and ran their socks off in midfield.

Cumnor threw everything into attack and had Hooky defending deep in their own half for the last ten minutes with George Stapleton and Sam Green in terrific form.

Hooky had a couple of good breaks late on and could have scored a couple more goals but, at the final whistle, 2-0 was a fair result and a great credit to the team.

Evesham Utd U-16 0, Gloucester City 0 THE resilient Robins warmed-up for their remaining league games with a deserved draw against a side that they had lost to 3-0 earlier in the season.

Striker Tom Graham took up good positions in the penalty area in the first half but his two shots at goal failed to trouble the visiting goalkeeper.

United's best chance came in the second half when Josh Millar's shot just didn't have enough power to find its intended target.

At the other end, Gloucester hit a post before Ben Parry produced the save of the match to tip over a dipping strike.

Bromsgrove Tn 0, Evesham Utd Girls U-12 2 UNITED took a step nearer retaining their league title after another fantastic display against gritty and determined hosts.

All of the players played their part and Town were quickly on the back foot as Danielle Monks, Sophie Griffiths and Ella Parry-Reece produced some slick passing moves.

It was the latter who opened the scoring midway through the first half with a powerful shot into the corner of the goal.

Hannah Lowerson, Natasha Brotherton and Jaspreet Bassi all did their bit to ensure that the hosts didn't find a way back into the game before the interval.

Evesham continued to dominate in the second half and scored a crucial second goal eight minutes in when Brotherton's long ball was chased by Griffiths who got lucky when the goalkeeper's attempted clearance struck the Evesham player and rebounded into the net.
