Milne strike fires Otters.

Otterbourne 3, Clanfield 0.

Aaron Milne cannot seem to stop scoring since his elevation to Wessex League football. Another strike set Otterbourne on their way to a handsome victory and he followed this up by winning a penalty.

The hosts began brightly as Clanfield took time to settle and Gareth Mead, who had a commanding game in midfield, fashioned a chance for Milne which went begging. He fed Milne again, on the half hour, following another run along the right and this time the young striker buried a shot in the bottom corner of the goal.

Otters doubled their lead before the break when Milne was brought down and Mead converted from the penalty spot. The visitors were, however, more resolute after the break and were denied by some commanding goalkeeping from Adam Winder and, on one occasion, when Nick Cole cleared from the goal line.

Otterbourne put the result beyond doubt ten minutes from the end with another well worked goal. Paul Beasley raced to the by line and cut in prior to sending a perfectly weighted chip onto the head of Adie Delanougerede who made no mistake from ten yards.
