THE roof of Worcester Cathedral will be raised this weekend when choirs perform a classical masterpiece.
Worcester Festival Choral Society will be joined by members of King's School Choir to perform Verdi's Requiem tomorrow night.
One of the most popular pieces of choral music ever written, the requiem was composed in 1874, in memory of the poet Manzoni.
Tickets, priced between £4 to £20, are available from Worcester Live box office on 01905 611427 or on the door on the night.
See www. worcesterfestival choralsociety.org.uk for future concerts.
