A unique seven-day community information roadshow reached the Palace Gardens Shopping Centre in Enfield on Monday.

The event promises to give shoppers a valuable insight into services, projects and businesses in the borough.

Messages from community groups will feature on a giant 16-screen video wall.

Enfield Police are even using the wall to show a commercial promoting the force and its crime fighting partnerships, and Enfield Council is showing footage about housing, community safety, education welfare, voluntary groups and health services.

Cllr Matthew Laban, cabinet member for housing said: "For the first time we are showing how council services work for people and explaining how our partnerships work.

"Staff will be on hand to distribute information and meet the public, so I hope people of all ages visit the show."

"No matter who you are, there's a service designed for your needs. This show is a real opportunity to engage with everyone."

Chief Insp Stuart Palmer of Enfield Police said: "The public needs to know that we are working closely with our partners to do everything we possibly can to combat crime in the borough."

Other participating organisations include North London Empty Homes, Enfield Primary Care Trust and Enfield and Haringey Quit Smoking.

The information wall of film, produced by award winning LBV Television will be showing promos Outside Waitrose from 9am to 5.30pm on Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
