In the week before Christmas - Saturday 16 December until Saturday 23 December, the Watford Town Centre Partnership is making the town centre fun for younger residents and visitors by providing a range of fairground rides in Charter Place.
There will be one ride each day in the town centre including teacups, swan ride, the Watford Wheel (a mini big wheel) and chair-o-planes. Last Saturday the Watford Wheel come to town - children had a great time being lifted into the air for a spectacularly festive aerial view of the town.
Whilst most of the rides are only suitable for children aged between 2 and 10 years old - grown-ups can have a go on the teacups; which will provide a welcome sit down from the demands of Christmas shopping!
The rides will located in Charter Place by the HSBC bank and will cost £1 per person.
