BRITISH Jazz pioneer Terry Lightfoot will be paying tribute to Louis Armstrong with his 50th anniversary tour, this Friday (January 12) at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall.
Terry has been at the forefront of the British Jazz scene since 1956 when his band played it's first major concert at London's Royal Festival Hall.
He is one of a handful of British artists to actually play alongside Louis Armstrong, leading to them sharing the bill for the 1965 UK tour of The Louis Armstrong All Stars'. Tickets cost £16 and the show starts at 8pm.
Birmingham born singer/song writer Harvey Andrews, who has worked with Rick Wakeman and Christy Moor, will perform at Huntingdon Hall this Saturday (January 13, 8pm start).).
