KIDDERMINSTER Harriers are looking to get their Nationwide Conference play-off hopes back on track when they entertain runaway leaders Dagenham and Redbridge tomorrow night (7.45).

Harriers have lost their last two games - 2-1 at Forest Green Rovers and 2-0 at home to Exeter City on Saturday - and have dropped to 10th in the table.

The back-to-back defeats followed an eight-game winning streak in the league that had catapulted Harriers to the brink of a play-off place.

Assistant manager Neil Howarth claims the players did not become complacent because of that run.

Howarth said they were focussed on tomorrow night's match and then Saturday's FA Trophy quarter-final with Halifax Town at Aggborough.

He said: "We've been working all week with Tuesday in mind and with the next couple of games after in mind.

"We're not under any illusions that we've succeeded already just because we've got to the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy and we've had a good run in the league.

"The players are low - we wanted to bounce back after the Forest Green game and get back on a run but Saturday's performance wasn't good enough, either individually or as a team."

Striker Iyseden Christie failed to make the squad for Saturday's match against Exeter and it remains to be seen whether his foot injury has cleared up in time for tomorrow.

New striker Gary Hay, signed from Bromsgrove Rovers last week, staked his claim for a starting place after replacing Andy White as a 58th-minute sub at the weekend.

Boss Mark Yates was at the centre of a controversial incident after allegations of a headbutt on Exeter's Lee Elam following the final whistle during an altercation between the pair.

Hereford United midfielder Jon Wallis could line up against Harriers after joining Dagenham on loan for a month today.

'Keeper Nicky Eyre has also signed for John Still's team following a spell at Rushden and Diamonds.
