A TRIO of dancers from a Highbridge performing arts school have successfully auditioned for some prestigious places.
Sophie Patten and Georgia and Lily Madsen from the Lucy Gunter Dance and Theatre Arts Centre will soon be touring the country after showing off their fancy footwork.
Centre head Lucy Gunter told the Weekly News on Friday (February 16) how proud she was of the youngsters and explained how they had secured their places.
"I sent quite a few girls to go down to the English Youth Ballet and three were successful," she said.
"They are going to start down in Yeovil and will be doing performances in Sleeping Beauty.
"They will go on to appear in other performances throughout the country - it's quite a big deal for a dancer."
