Soccer Jets 'B' 2 Senrab 'A' 2 (Echo League U11) Jets took a deserved lead after 15 minutes, before Scott Harris scored for Senrab just before half-time after some fine play by Rauf Kizza.

The second half was much the same as the first, very scrappy with little between the teams. Jets looked to have sealed a win, scoring four minutes from time, however two minutes later Kizza broke through and hit a fine shot against the bar. A Jets defender, trying to clear the rebound, turned the ball into his own net.

Bengeo Tigers 2 Ridgeway Rovers 8 (Rural Friendly League U9 ) This was a close encounter for Ridgeway despite the scoreline.

The first game started brightly with both sides going close with chances, but it was Bengeo who took the lead mid-way through the first half. Rovers then began to dominate, but after Clayton equalised, Tigers retook the lead. Into the second half and Ridgeway again equalised, this time through Hollingsworth. And Rovers finally took the lead when Frost latched on to a clearance to hit a half volley past the Bengeo keeper making the first match scoreline 3-2.

The first half of the second game was also a close affair with both sides missing chances before the interval. The second half then saw Ridgeway finally dominate and play some good football with Cunnington grabbing a superb hat-trick, before Harris added a brace towards the end to make the overall score 8-2 to Rovers.

Collier Row 0 Waltham Forest Youth 9 (Echo Friendly U7) A first half hat-trick from Lee ensured that Forest extended their five month unbeaten run.

Lee's first goal came via a long pass from captain Pash, who despite not scoring did watch his younger brother Daniel get his first goal for the club. Another newcomer on the score sheet was Taye Ellis who managed a fine brace of goals. James scored either side of half time, before McIntosh completed the scoring.

Brentwood Town 1 West Ham United 8 (Essex Girls League U12) Julie Hollingsworth's U12 squad are one win away from clinching the League title following this win.

The first Hammers goal came after only four minutes as centre forward Gemma Hyland crossed for Dannielle Robertson to coolly fire home.

West Ham continued to dominate throughout and even keeper Alex Baker managed to get on the scoresheet after being moved out on pitch in the second half.

Meanwhile Abbie Simmonds again showed her ability to dominate a game with her passes.

West Ham United 6 Colchester Town 2 (Essex Girls League Plate Competition U11) The Hammers got off to a great start in the plate competition with a six goal romp over the side who had finished second in the northern section of the league.

It was some test for Angela Murphy's youngsters who had finished second in the southern section. West Ham opened the scoring on 16 minutes when Nicole Hacksaw's through ball found captain Katie Sorenson who netted.

She almost got her second four minutes later when she hit the woodwork, but Danielle Silletto was on hand to fire home the rebound to make it 2-0.

And before half-time some good probing runs from Morgan Mitchell, allowed Sorenson to score.

The second half began with a well-deserved goal for Lauren Sawyer, her first ever goal for the club. As the confidence grew defenders Chloe Davis and Silletto pushed forward to support the strikers, and this paid dividends when, with help from Hayley Swords, Sophie Miles banged home the Hammers fifth. The visitors fought back and brought the score to 5-1. Swords added the Hammers' sixth goal after a good through ball from Leah Wilson, but just before the final whistle Colchester added a second consolation effort.

Chelmsford City 0 West Ham United 5 (Essex Girls League U14) The Hammers are already league champions but continued their fine form of this season as they prepare for their League Cup final against Redbridge in May.

The first goal of the game came after only five minutes from Maddie Thomas, before good play from Jordan Hanley allowed her to score her second goal.

West Ham had possession for most of the game, but the Chelmsford defence never gave up, including their keeper, who made several fine saves.

In the second half another good run from Hanley saw her score the Hammers third goal.

West Ham continued to press forward and the fourth goal eventually came after Katie Bottom set-up Amy Cooley. The last goal of the match was a chipped pass from Sophie Reed to Bottom, who turned and drove the ball home.

There was mixed fortunes for Waltham Forest representative soccer sides when two out of three teams won their semi-finals in Essex Schools cup matches.

Although the Under 13 team were narrowly beaten 1-0 after dominating their match with Thurrock, the U14s held Redbridge to a 2-2 draw after extra time and then won the tie on penalties.

The match was a triumph for Duncan Giddens who only recently took over the management of the team.

Forest's U15 side played Barking and Dagenham in their semi-final and two goals, from Tom Byrne and George Fitzsimons, gave them a half-time lead. But Barking came back strongly to equalise and the game went into extra time. Hassan Jennah scored twice in extra time to give Forest a 4-2 victory.

The U14 now go on to meet Thurrock in the final, while the U15s will play Harlow and West Essex Schools. Forest's U15 have also reached the semi-finals of the London Schools Cup and will be playing away to South London Schools.
