Barnet Ladies FC have been given a last-minute reprieve after substantial sponsorship this week.
The benefactors are GW Chapman and Sons, an Uxbridge printing company.
There were fears that the ladies' and girls' teams, which cost an estimated £30,000 a year to run, would be victims of the cuts Barnet FC had to make following relegation from the Nationwide League.
But the new sponsors have made a timely intervention and Barnet Ladies kick-off in the Premier League against Bristol Rovers at Underhill at 2pm on August 19.
The Ladies are without a manager following the resignation of John Jones due to business commitments.
The vacancy is being advertised and in the meantime, John's former assistant Glen Prime and ex-reserve team manager and club captain Tracey Kevins will be in charge of the side.
