FOOTBALLING legend Tommy Finney is to visit Kendal Town - 70 years after he was turned down by the club as a triallist.
The 84-year-old former England and Preston ace will be the guest of the club at the home match against North Ferriby United on Saturday, April 14.
Town manager Lee Ashcroft, a former Preston player himself, said: "It will be a great occasion for Kendal Town and I'm sure all the club's supporters will come out in force to honour Tom."
