THE spirit of the Cheltenham Gold Cup will be brought to a Worcester pub at a charity race night tomorrow.
The event, at Ye Olde Talbot, Friar Street, will raise money for the Georgia Bristow fund.
Five-year-old Georgia, of Fallow Field, Warndon Vill-ages, Worcester, has had nearly 30 operations in her short life. She was born 13 weeks prematurely.
She contracted meningitis at just one week old and suffers from fluid on the brain.
Since 2004, the Worcester News has been following her family's efforts to raise the £10,000 needed for specialist medical treatment.
Racing begins at 8pm - but participants are urged to arrive early to place their bets on time.
Prizes are available for the winners and the losers of the fund-raising evening.
