Pirates From Atlantis.

We open in Atlantis where wicked Sharkina, guilty of treason, takes sister, Oceanna,

hostage forcing their father, the Grand Godolphin to relinquish his throne and key to

Great Neptune's treasure.

Later, not satisfied with ruling Atlantis, Sharkina recruits Redd Rhum and his pirates

in her quest for world domination.

In Portsmouth, Captain Cutlass and crew prepare HMS Scuttle for a mission to bring

Redd to justice. With the Scuttle bound for the West Indies, Purdy, landlady of the

Admirable Admiral  persuades  the Captain to take her along on what she thinks will

be a relaxing cruise.

Meanwhile her daughter  Polly longs to sail in search of her lost love, so when young

midshipman Jack comes along, she seizes the opportunity to assume his identity and

join the crew.

Dazed and wearing Polly's frock, Jack is confronted by a press gang  who, on

discovering Jack is not a girl, press him into service aboard the Scuttle.

Confusion over identities, fighting pirates,  tussling a sea monster and more make

this a pantomime  with a difference.

There are 34 in the cast, including many local children.

This Pantomime, directed by Pauline Mead, will be fun for all the family.
