A conservation group is giving people a greener way to get fit this year.
The Conservation Volunteers' green gym programme will take place in Bluebell Wood, Bounds Green, this Thursday.
Volunteers will work up a sweat while clearing encroaching vegetation and brambles, as well as creating places for animals to live and a variety of tasks to improve the environment.
The weekly sessions take place from 10.30am to 2.30pm. Anyone who wants to take part should meet at the Winton Avenue entrance of the woodland, call 07887 624886 on project days, email p.colcutt@tcv.org.uk or visit tcv.org.uk/haringey.
Tools, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided, but participants should wear suitable clothing and footwear.
