A man accused of causing the death of two people by driving dangerously is to enter a plea this morning.
Karl Aaron Maddix, 30, of no fixed address, will appear at Wood Green Crown Court following a car crash in Seven Sisters Road near the junction with St Ann’s Road early on Friday, March 29, 2013.
Gregory Jones, 38, and Shaka Henry, 33, both from Islington, north London, were passengers in an Audi A3 hatchback that hit a bridge.
The pair suffered multiple chest injuries and died at the scene, despite police giving CPR.
Mr Maddix was charged on October 10 with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, two counts of causing death while uninsured and two counts of causing death while driving without a licence.
