A group of teenage girls gave performances on what feminism means in 2014 as part of National Storytelling Week.

The group of women included poets and spoken word artists Rosie Knight, Senority, Mc Angel, Floetic Lara, and Aina Roxx.

They performed at Kings Place, in Kings Cross, on Wednesday, February 5.

The five poets later performed a group story about a young woman from an inner city estate coping with the pressures of being popular and pining after material objects.

This event was funded by Arts Council England and supported by arts consultancy Small Green Shoots for the Society for Storytelling’s National Storytelling Week.

The workshops were run by youth organisations Poetry Luv, WISDM, Youth Sauce and The Leys CDI.
