A library will be commemorating those who chose not to fight in the First World War.

Stroud Green and Harringay Library, in Quernmore Road, Hornsey, is to host an exhibition on conscientious objectors from Hornsey, on March 8.

People will get the chance of hear about their experiences, the way the law operated, the reasons why men felt it wrong to fight the war - and the consequences of their actions.

The exhibition by Jennifer Bell is free to attend and runs from 3pm to 4.15pm.
