Tottenham Hotspur fans have been told they could be charged for parking near White Hart Lane stadium after Haringey Borough Council introduced new controlled parking zones.

Spurs has advised its supporters that three new ‘all-week’ regulations across Tottenham will be introduced from Monday, March 17 to safeguard community parking.

The three new controlled parking zones include the Tottenham North CPZ, which is located around the stadium and will operate from Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6.30pm.

There will also be a Tottenham Hale North CPZ and a Tower Gardens CPZ, which will operate Monday to Sunday 8am to 6:30pm.

Visitors to White Hart Lane stadium will be affected by the Tottenham North parking restrictions.

Its boundaries are Park Lane and Church Road to the south, the borough boundary with Enfield to the north, Tariff Road, Worcester Avenue and Park Lane Close to the east and and Tenterden Road, Beaufoy Road and the railway line to the west.

On event days will CPZs will be in operation from 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, and from 12 noon to 8pm on Sundays and public holidays.

The changes are the result of a comprehensive consultation carried out by Haringey Council.

They have been introduced to ensure parking space as used by people living into those streets as the wide-scale regeneration begins across the Tottenham area.
