A man has been released on bail after he was arrested on suspicion of using racist abuse during Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Southampton.

The 57-year-old, who was with the away supporters at White Hart Lane, was reported to police by two Southampton fans for allegedly hurling anti-Semitic abuse during the match on March 23.

He was taken into custody and subsequently bailed until May 19 pending further investigation.
