Ever wondered what the dirtiest matchday takeaway near White Hart Lane is? The Haringey Independent has named and shamed the worst takeaways visited by Spurs fans.

The Food Standards Agency rates every business selling food with a simple star rating from five, meaning very good, to zero, meaning urgent improvement necessary.

The Haringey Independent has dug out the FSA’s latest hygiene inspection ratings and is naming and shaming the worst takeaways around the Spurs stadium.

And the ratings show that it’s not just a defeat that leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Tottenham Independent:

Diamond Kebab, in High Road, Tottenham. 

Last inspected: July 10, 2013. 

Offside: This kebab house was given a one rating and was deemed to require "major improvement". The Haringey Independent was unable contact the business for a comment. 

Tottenham Independent:

Farmhouse Pizza, in Park Lane, Tottenham. 

Last inspected: April 26, 2013. 

Substitution: This pizza place was told it needed major improvement at its last inspection after it recieved a one rating.

However, according to manager Saleem Mohammed this takeaway has recently come under new management.

He said: "We took over about five months ago and have really turned this place around and made a lot of improvements. 

"And Spurs have been really great and we are building our customer base again so I want to welcome people who have any doubts to come check us out."

Tottenham Independent:

Superb International Food, High Road, Tottenham.

Last inspected: February 19, 2013. 

Yellow card: This takeway was given a one rating during its last inspection in April last year but it is believed to have changed management since then. The Haringey Independent was unable contact the business for a comment.

Now for a little change - the Haringey Independent would like to give a shout-out to the best matchday takeaway.    

Tottenham Independent:

4 Sister Cafe, Park Lane, Tottenham. 

Last inspected: November 18, 2013.

Superb finish: This was the only five rated establishment around White Hart Lane Stadium. The business could not be reached for a comment but it wowed inspectors with its squeaky-clean restaurant.
