A museum in Tottenham is to host a talk about one of the borough’s forgotten icons.

The Bruce Castle Museum, in Lordship Lane, will host the talk about Hornsey Wood House by John Hinshelwood of the Hornsey Historical society.

Hornsey Wood House was a popular tea house and tavern in Harringay and in 1758 it was reported to be the most popular resort in the area.

The event will take place on Monday, April 28, and will run from 12.15pm to 1pm.
