Nature lovers can get a good look at Haringey’s greener side with an organised tree walk taking place this Sunday.
The outing, in Finsbury Park, is the latest in a series of bi-monthly walks organised by volunteer group the Haringey Tree Wardens.
Participants are invited to join the group in a leisurely walk around the park, identifying various species of attractive trees, including oaks, maples and horse chestnuts.
The walk is free of charge but participants are encouraged to contribute a discreet, non-obligation donation if they can afford it.
This month’s walk, along the Finsbury Park Tree Trail, begins at the park café at 3pm.
To sign up, visit the event Facebook page or turn up on the day.
