Spurs fans were hurt in a crush at Hillsborough Stadium eight years before the fatal 1989 disaster involving Liverpool fans, an inquest has heard.
The inquest into the Hillsborough disaster, where 96 people lost their lives while watching Liverpool play against Nottingham Forest at the Hillsborough Stadium, has heard of a smaller crush involving Spurs fans in 1981.
The jury was shown a video of Tottenham Hotspur supporters spilling onto the pitch at the Leppings Lane end of the Hillsborough ground before the start of the 1981 FA Cup semi-final between Spurs and Wolverhampton.
The situation worsened when Tottenham striker Steve Archibald scored during the game, causing the crowd to surge, the jury heard.
The footage shows a paramedic carrying a stretcher over to a group of spectators.
Sheffield Wednesday said it received reports that 38 people sustained injuries, two of whom were taken to hospital with broken arms and one with a broken leg.
The event was described to the jury to give them an understanding of the stadium safety issues surrounding Hillsborough, and to outline changes made to the terrace layout at Leppings Lane before the fatal 1989 match.
The hearing, which is taking place in Warrington, Cheshire, continues.
