Caterers at Tottenham Hotspur's stadium collected more than 8,000 bottle tops on matchdays to raise money for a charity helping people with drug and alcohol addictions.
Spurs fan Paul Stephens, a store manager at Sainsbury's in Potters Bar where the collection was taking place, approached caterers at the White Hart Lane stadium to enlist their help.
And he was surprised when he returned this week to pick up the massive collection.
All of the plastic bottle tops will be recycled to raise money for The Matthew Project - a charity working with young people and adults in Norfolk and Suffolk suffering with addictions.
