A mental health charity has been awarded a grant for its work on a community project.
The Bridge Renewal Trust’s Tottenham Talking has been awarded a grant by Time to Change, another charity.
Tottenham Talking aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues by running “eat and talk” sessions in partnership with the NHS.
Rachel Hughes, chairman of the Bridge Renewal Trust, said: “We are delighted to have received the Time to Change grant.
“We have bold plans to really transform the way people in our local community see mental health problems by encouraging conversations and offering them the chance to find out more about mental illness.”
