Royal Mail is commemorating the centenary of the First World War with a special stamp exhibition.
Haringey’s libraries will display the series of limited edition First World War Stamps which are being issued to mark the conflict.
The stamps will be displayed at Hornsey Library throughout August, before moving to Alexandra Park (September), Marcus Garvey (October), St Ann’s (November) and Muswell Hill (December).
Andrew Hammond from Royal Mail, said: “We’re delighted that libraries across Haringey, starting with Hornsey, will be displaying our First World War stamps.
“This set of stamps forms part of a wider programme by Royal Mail to commemorate the centenary of the war, helping to tell some of the important and moving stories about the beginning of the conflict in 1914.“
