Haringey Council officially launched its Tottenham Strategic Regeneration Framework this evening with a ‘Question Time’-style panel.
The panel answered questions on a range of topics submitted beforehand, including planning regulations in Tottenham Hale, the influence of small business on regeneration, and facilities for older people.
They also answered questions from the floor on the demolition of homes and businesses, and population density.
Members of the panel were:
Councillor Alan Strickland, cabinet member for housing and regeneration
Lyn Garner, director of regeneration, planning and development
Paulette Hamilton, chairman of Love Lane Resident Association
Keith Brown, chairman of the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London
Weike Ezeigwe, an entrepreneur based at the 639 enterprise centre
Tracy Tempest, assistant chief inspector, Haringey Neighbourhood Policing
Mike Hinch, chief executive of the Newlon Housing Trust
