Two sisters from Tottenham completed a “onesie challenge” to raise awareness for an international development charity.
Takiywa Danso and her sister Ajua Danso dressed in donkey and leopard outfits and spent the day crossing bridges in central London.
The pair wanted to promote the Voluntary Services Overseas charity's international citizenship service.
Ms Danso, of Risley Avenue, said: “We got quite a lot of funny stares, and quite a lot of kids running after me because they thought I was a giant rabbit. They ran after me screaming ‘bunny rabbit!’ for quite a long time.
“People were generally really interested in what we had to say. The tourists were a bit confused and didn’t really understand what was going on, but most people were curious.”
The 21-year-old, who has just graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in environmental geography and international development, will begin a placement with the charity in Kenya from September.
