Two children have been awarded a four-year scholarship to help develop their skills as musicians.
Kain Bailey, ten, a pupil at Lancasterian Primary School in Kings Road, and Andrea Christofi, ten, who attends Earlsmead School in Broad Lane, Tottenham, received the scholarships from the Mayor of London’s music fund at a ceremony at City Hall.
The money helps talented children from disadvantaged families fulfil their musical potential.
They will receive two hours of music tuition each week, mentoring and opportunities to perform at concerts and live gigs.
