Men arrested for firearms offences across city
Two men have been charged with firearms offences following a spate of attempted robberies across north London.
Anthony Fagan, 52, of Boleyn Avenue, Enfield, and Syrus Hayles, 25, of Essex, were both charged after crimes at post offices in Radlett and Cuffely, a Tesco Express in Bushey, and a Coral bookmakers in Watford.
They were arrested by Hertfordshire Police on Friday, December 19, following a further robbery at a post office in London Road, Bedford.
The two appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 22 charged with the offences in Hertfordshire and have been remanded to prison pending their trial.
