An arts project is searching for people with memories of a beloved pub.

Non-profit organisation Travelling Tent aims to collect reminiscence of the Ranelagh Pub in Bounds Green Road, Bounds Green, to preserve the pub’s history.

Tales from the 150-year old pub will then be retold at a story telling evening in October.

The project has been made possible, in part, thanks to a £5,900 Heritage Lottery Grant and is being carried out in conjunction with Haringey Archive at Bruce Castle Museum.

Eleanor Harding, co-founder of Travelling Tent, said: “Pubs are places where interesting things happen and we are all really excited to find out more about The Ranelagh’s history and to share these stories with others.”

If people have memories of the pub they would like to share they can contact Travelling Tent on 07969 454 824 or email hi.travellingtent@gmail.com
