Another chapter in the war on litter begins tomorrow with the launch of a community clean-up project.
Haringey will see in the beginning of Beautiful Boroughs as litter pickers meet at Fairland Park, off Wightman Road, Harringay, for its big clean up event.
Both children and adults are invited to join the launch, beginning with the community litter pick at 11am before refreshments are served and the group has a chance to get to know one another.
The Beautiful Borough Project, which is working with ten London boroughs, aims to help people get together to form groups to keep their road or area free of litter and make it a safer place to live.
To take part in the event, and help to create a safer and litter-free Haringey, email Sharon at sharon.panayiotou@cleanupuk.org.uk.
