Families and young children have helped to tidy up their neighbourhood as part of a new initiative.
More than 30 people of all ages went to the project hosted by CleanupUK in Fairland Park, Harringay, where they picked up 15 large bags of litter and a flat screen television.
Sarah Hayes, senior coordinator for the project, said: "I think it was very positive, very chatty and a very friendly atmosphere.
"Everyone quite liked the challenge and the exercise. The group has set a brilliant example that we hope others in Haringey soon follow."
CleanupUK is a charity that helps communities across the country tackle the problem of litter in streets, parks and communal spaces.
Five-year-old Dylan Feltham, who helped out on the day, said: "Cleaning up makes you feel proud because you've done something good."
