Haringey Council has handed out fines to 11 businesses for dumping rubbish in public places.
The authority and Veolia carried out a joint clean-up operation in Noel Park to clear items left in the alleways along Wood Green High Road.
The roads cleaned included Amber Mews, Lilac Mews, Hazel Mews, Wallis Mews, Dovecote Alley and Gladstone Mews Penalties of £75 were handed out.
But the council refused to name the businesses.
A Haringey Council spokesperson said: “Fly-tipping in our borough is unacceptable and we remain committed to tackling this issue.
“As well as ensuring people know the correct ways to dispose of their waste, we will also not hesitate to take action against people or businesses who are illegally dumping rubbish.
“We also want people to tell us when they see fly-tipping taking place so that we can take action.”
