Spurs fans can bid for the chance to watch the team train and have lunch with a club legend at an upcoming charity auction.

Tottenham Hotspur have joined forces with some of the biggest names in world football to support an online charity auction in memory of Sir Bobby Robson.

Among the star prizes, Tottenham have donated an offer for two people to visit the training centre and watch the first team before meeting some of the players and manager Mauricio Pochettino.

This will be followed by lunch with club legend Ledley King and a copy of the Spurs Opus book, a limited edition 800-page celebration of the club’s history.

The auction was the brainchild of Gina Long, a long-time friend of the Robson family. She said: “Sir Bobby was a colossal global figure in football and the love and respect people still have for him is reflected in the unbelievable money-can’t-buy prizes that we are so fortunate to receive.

“Everyone has been so generous in donating amazing prizes from the world of sport, celebrity and lifestyle. There really is something for everyone.”

Bidding on the auction runs until the evening of Sunday 29 November with more than 140 items donated in memory of former England manager.

The money raised from the annual auction has directly helped the fight against cancer, most notably by the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, which was set up in 2008 to support cancer projects and international research into the disease.
