A man sexually assaulted three young girls on buses travelling into the borough, say police.

They are asking for the victims to come forward, and have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to over the incidents.

The assault happened on 9 December 2015 at about 8.15am, on a 232 bus travelling from Tottenhall Road to Turnpike Lane.

The suspect boarded at Berkshire Gardens, Palmers Green, and stood very close to the first victim - a 12-year-old girl - making her feel uncomfortable.

She moved away, but the suspect followed and began to touch her. She moved away again and later got off the bus on Nightingale Road in Wood Green. She reported the incident to police later that day.

The suspect remained on the bus, and sexually assaulted two other 12-year-old girls travelling on the same bus in a similar fashion.

Police believe the same man committed another assault on a bus in Enfield on January 5. They say another passenger saw him inappropriately touch a woman travelling with a small child on a 279 bus in Ponders End.

Police would like to speak with the woman who was assaulted. She is white, with brown hai, which she wore in a bun. She was wearing a long white lanyard - showing an ID pass - around her neck. She boarded the bus in Ponders End at about 4.15pm and got off at the next stop.

The man is white with very short dark hair, of medium build and was unshaven.
