PUPILS and teachers swapped their workbooks for wellies when they spent a week at a farm.
Children from Tiverton Primary School, in Pulford Road, Tottenham, visited Treginnis Farm in Wales where they enjoyed a range of activities.
They learnt how to milk a goat, look after the lambs, calves and sheep and grooming horses and donkeys.
The pupils also enjoyed cooking activities, log sawing, walks along the Pembrokshire coast and a boat trip around Ramsey Island.
As well as learning about life on the farm, the children had the chance to explore the cathedral and surrounding area of the city of St David’s.
Assistant head teacher Siobhan Barry who leads this visit every year said: “Treginnis farm offers pupils a chance to experience life in a rural setting, to learn more about the agrarian system and also develop their independence and team building skills.
“They can't wait to visit again next year.”
