A man has been arrested on suspicion of posting "extreme right wing" messages on social media.
The Metropolitan Police say they arrested a 41-year-old man at an unspecified location in north London at 6.30am this morning (Wednesday, June 29) on suspicion of inciting racial hatred.
They said they have searched two addresses today in an investigation into "social media postings of an extreme right wing, Islamophobic and anti-Semitic nature."
The man is in custody at a north London police station.
Police refused to say exactly where the arrest took place or give any more information, except that a "number of digital items have been seized at one of the properties."
