A family having a birthday garden party last week photographed a very unusual sight – an upside-down rainbow.
Emma Adams-Tovey said they were celebrating her husband Colin’s 45th birthday at their home in Ordnance Road, Enfield Lock, when their three-year-old son Albert noticed the odd phenomenon.
She said: “Albert was playing with his step-brother Tyrese, when he shouted look at the rainbow. We looked around and couldn't see anything, then he pointed straight up.
“The rainbow was right above our heads. I have never seen one like it before. My 63-year-old dad was there too, and he said he had never seen something like it.
“Albert was really chuffed; he was jumping around all over the place.”
