Tottenham Hotspur will face League One side Gillingham at White Hart Lane in the EFL Cup after The Gills beat Premier League side Watford 2-1 after extra time.
The tie is due to be played the week commencing Monday, September 19 and Spurs will hope to progress further than they did last season.
Tottenham were knocked out in the third round in the 2015/16 season as they lost 2-1 to north London rivals Arsenal as Mathieu Flamini scored a double.
They finished runners up in the 2014/15 season after they lost 2-0 to Chelsea at Wembley.
Gillingham lost 2-0 against Birmingham City in the second round last season after they overcome Plymouth Argyle 2-1 in the first.
Leicester City will host Chelsea, while Southampton welcome Crystal Palace whereas Hull City visit stoke in the all-Premier League ties.
Defending champions Manchester City will travel to Swansea with beaten finalists heading to Derby.
