Plans to turn a former church into a retirement home have been submitted to Enfield Council.
Housing developers McCarthy and Stone want to turn the former Oakwood Methodist Church into 30 one and two bedroom apartments for older people, along with a lounge, mobility scooter storage area and a landscaped garden.
A public exhibition was held in July.
David Button, spokesperson for McCarthy and Stone, said: “I would like to thank everybody that has been in contact and supplied us with their feedback. We are delighted that there was such a positive response to our proposals, both at the community event and since we submitted the application.”
The application is now under review by the council.
