The priciest car parks in Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Epping Forest have been revealed.

The most expensive sites for a stay of more than three hours in any area are Redbridge council-owned car parks at Eastwood Close, George Lane Viaduct and Mulberry Way in South Woodford.

Three hours parking on any of the three sites will set you back a hefty £6.

However, the cheapest car park in Redbridge is at Wanstead Library, where two hours parking costs just £1.30. For a fiver, you can leave your vehicle at the library all day.

In Epping Forest, watch out for eight council-owned sites across Loughton, Ongar, Waltham Abbey and Buckhurst Hill, where more than three hours parking costs £10.

It’s not all bad in Epping Forest though, you can park in the same council car parks for just 20p if you’re planning on staying no longer than 30 minutes.

The priciest place to leave your motor in Waltham Forest is the council-owned car park at Town Hall, where a three-hour stay costs £3.80, increasing to £5.10 for four hours.

In stark comparison to the Town Hall site, another council car park around the corner in Linford Road was one of the cheapest, with a four hour stay costing only £2.40.

In Leyton, the Argall Way car park costs just £2 for a stay of no more than three hours. A stay of up to eight hours at the same site will only set you back £4.
