KIDS tackled sport in school head-on this week, with a visit from an international rugby player.
Former England Captain Catherine Spencer visited the Wohl Ilford Jewish Primary School, Forest Road on Tuesday, March, 14 as part of a ‘schools for sports’ initiative.
The sports star was picked as captain in 2007, and led the squad to victory in many Six Nations tournaments as well as heading the team in the 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cup.
The rugby star, who captained the 2009 team to beat world champions New Zealand, put the students through their paces with a series of physical activities.
