Voting for a community garden competition is now open to the public.
The Mall Wood Green’s ‘Mallotment’ challenge has begun.
Six community groups and charities have the chance to win £500 for their organisation if their own miniature garden bed within the shopping centre receives the most votes.
Each entrant was given a raised platform bed and fertilizer so they could cultivate the most beautiful flowers, plants and accessories.
Haringey Shed, Mind in Haringey, and the BOC Arts Collective are three of the organisations taking part.
Isaiah Fapuro, marketing manager of The Mall Wood Green, said: “I’m thrilled to announce that voting is now open for our ‘Mallotment’ community garden bed competition.
“All the entries are truly fantastic and I encourage shoppers and residents to pop down and vote for their favourite organization – after all they could win £500 for their great causes.”
Shoppers visit The Mall Wood Green to choose their favourite ‘Mallotment’, then complete a voting form available at the centre or at www.facebook.com/themall.woodgreen.
August Sunday 13 is the closing date for voting.
