Celebrations have been held for the opening of the new Edmonton Green library.
On Saturday December 9 Mayor of Enfield Cllr Christine Hamilton, leader of Enfield Council Cllr Doug Taylor and Cllr Ayfer Orhan cabinet minister for education, libraries, children’s services and protection, cut the red ribbon.
Spiderman and The Gruffalo watched on in readiness for the storytelling and arts and crafts sessions that followed.
Enfield Council, Millfield Theatre and Edmonton Green (St Modwen) wanted to make the occasion special for library users and the general public.
