A citizens advice project which provides food, clothing and shelter for some of London’s most needy people has been picked as The Mall Wood Green’s charity partner.

The shopping centre will host a series of activities, events and campaigns with Crutch Haringey throughout the year to raise vital funds for the charity’s ongoing work.

Team leader of Crutch Haringey, Dean Wigzell, said: “It’s a huge help for us to be selected as The Mall’s Charity of the year. As a small but well needed resource, to be supported by a Borough landmark is fantastic.

“Hopefully the funds raised by the Mall will convert in to helping people who really need the support, and the exposure will bring awareness to our cause as well.”

Crutch Haringey offers practical support for residents struggling to provide essentials for themselves and their families including food, clothing and shelter.
