A mum pushing her two-year-old daughter in a buggy has become the latest victim of a violent mugger who targets young mums.

The victim was left "badly shaken and bruised" following the latest incident on Tuesday afternoon.

Police believe the thug has struck at least three times in south east London, violently ripping watches from the wrists of women with their children.

In the most recent attack a mum in her early 40s was assaulted in Chislehurst just before 3pm on Tuesday.

The toddler's father said: "Our younger daughter was in a buggy.

"Police believe there is a pattern, given the crime involved and the matching description of the attacker.

"We would hate for the perpetrator to repeat the offence on other women with children in the area or indeed anywhere."

A Met Police spokesman confirmed that a woman in her early 40s was robbed of her watch.

A picture of the suspect has been issued.

The police spokesman said: "He is wanted in connection with there high value robberies in the Bromley area.

"All victims are lone females with children."
